During December I completed my research on specific individuals and the crimes that they committed by using The British Library website. This allowed me to see a historian's account of the most important militant acts committed by the women. I certainly feel more confident about progressing with my research now as I know what direction I need to go in.
In the next couple of months, I would like to find research into the sanitising of the movement as well as look further into the work of the historian Fern Riddell. I believe she could be important in my project given the fact that she specialises in the Suffragettes.
